Aurelia's Oratorio
A dazzling display of stage illusion
Welcome to a world of mysterious trickery where dreams come to life and the impossible happens before your very eyes…
Aurélia’s Oratorio is inspired by the magic of music hall, variety and circus, creating an extraordinary concoction of theatrical fantasy. Following a sneak preview at the Lyric in April 2004, the show brings a feast of invention and adventure to the stage.
Aurélia Thierrée has performed as actress and illusionist since early childhood, initially with her parents Jean-Baptiste Thierrée and Victoria Thierrée Chaplin, the pioneers of the famous Cirque Invisible and Cirque Imaginaire, and more recently with Tiger Lillies, of Shockheaded Peter fame.
Running time: approximately 1 hour 15 mins
