Fight Face

Created by Sophie Woolley

'It is fast paced, funny and ridiculously energetic.' The Guardian

'A delightfully skewered snapshot of life outside a west London kebab shop.' Time Out - 4 stars

‘I walk home and the street is strewn with litter and chicken bones from left over take-aways. It’s almost as if I am a character in Fight Face, a very funny, depiction of our society from comic writer Sophie Woolley. It’s fast paced, funny, sad, violent, loving…everything that life can be.’  What's On Stage - 4 stars

A drunk falls asleep in his kebab and a horny artist totters around asking for a slap. It's business as usual for Jenghiz at his west London takeaway. But when a bored teenager rocks up looking for trouble, a fight starts, the row snowballs, traffic crashes and romance blossoms.

Sophie Woolley has won herself an army of friends with her DJ Bird diaries in Sleaze Nation and her hit show When to Run.

All performances will be captioned. The production includes animation by Steve May (BBC3s Monkeydust, Guardian favourite, and nominee for the British Animation award for X&Y). Click here to see his 'cat and dog' animation for Fight Face.
