Celebrate the work of Harold Pinter with a very special event to coincide with the 50th anniversary of The Birthday Party's debut at the Lyric Hammersmith.

Don't miss this 2 hour event looking at the craft and technique of Pinter’s plays, his influence on
today’s theatrical landscape and his inspiration for the current generation of theatre writers.

An onstage masterclass with the Lyric’s Artistic Director David Farr is followed by a panel discussion with guests including critic and Pinter biographer Michael Billington, Dr Mark Taylor-Batty of The Pinter Society and writers Patrick Marber (Closer, Don Juan in Soho, Dealer’s Choice), Rebecca Lenkiewicz (Shoreditch Madonna, Her Naked Skin, The Night Season) and Dennis Kelly (Love and Money, After the End, Love and Money, Taking Care of Baby).
