Kafka’s terrifying but bizarrely comic story bursts onto the stage in a theatrically explosive new version by Artistic Director David Farr and actor/director Gísli Örn Gardarsson of Iceland's acclaimed Vesturport Theatre (Woyzeck, Romeo and Juliet).

The ordinary, unremarkable life of the Samsas is turned upside down when their son, Gregor, emerges one morning transformed into a monstrous insect. As revulsion turns to resentment, strange things start to happen to the Samsa family…

Jaw-dropping physicality, striking design and an exquisite original soundtrack by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis combine to make Kafka’s dream-like vision an electrifying reality.
