Being part of the Lyric Young Company isn’t just about attending workshops and getting your tickets for a fiver. Being a member creates so many opportunities you’d wished you’d joined earlier.

'The Lyric theatre has been able to realise my potential. I'm now at University doing a Management and Japanese studies degree as well as attending auditions. Currently I'm finishing off filming for a guest lead in an episode for the BBC's Casualty to air some time in January.' Isaac Ssebandeke

'The Lyric has given me more than I ever expected.  I have been involved in Acting Up, Lyrics@Lyric, Masterclasses and was in the first Lyric Young Company Show Accidental Heroes in 2007. I am also a Lyric Ambassador and most recently I’ve become a trainee Peer mentor. I am currently doing work experience with the BBC which I found through the Lyric.
