If you are looking to experience how we create our unique brand of theatre, there are two ways for you to find out how theatre really works:

Work Experience

If you are 14-19 and live in West London then join the Lyric Young Company for the chance to complete two weeks of work experience at the Lyric.  All young company members who are required to complete work experience through their school or colleges can apply to the Lyric 2-3 months before the experience is due to start.  We will then shortlist applicants and ask those most suitable into the theatre for a short, informal chat.

Work Placements
If you are in higher education, or are just interested in getting some experience in a professional producing theatre, we may be able to accommodate you for a work placement.  Work Placements are a great way to gain skills and knowledge in a specific area and to help clarify where you would like to focus your career in theatre.  Placements can be arranged in any department and are flexible in terms of times and dates.  All placements are subject to capacity within departments.
